Deeply grasping the Central Government’s orientation on promoting “double-digit” economic growth coupled with innovating growth models, Phu Tho is demonstrating high political determination to realize the goals of the 14th National Party Congress. With a synchronized solution system, new management approaches, and a long-term vision, the province aims for an average GRDP growth of 10% or higher for the 2026 - 2030 period, targeting rapid and sustainable development.

Establishing a Modern Growth Management Mechanism

From the beginning of the term, the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress (2025 - 2030 tenure) clearly identified 3 breakthroughs and 6 key task groups. Strategic targets include an annual GRDP growth of 11% - 12%, doubling the economy’s size compared to 2025, and ensuring that the digital economy accounts for over 30% of GRDP.

To realize these goals, the Provincial Party Committee established the “Double-Digit” Economic Growth Steering Committee, chaired by the Provincial Party Secretary. This marks a shift from fragmented management to an inter-disciplinary coordination mechanism, ensuring centralized and consistent leadership.

Applying a goal-based management approach, the province will build a real-time growth index tracking system on a digital platform, adhering to the principle of "actions matching words, measured by specific results."

Industry is designated as the pillar, focusing on high-tech sectors such as automobile assembly and electronic components. Services will evolve toward modern logistics hubs, while agriculture shifts to high-tech ecological models. The province also emphasizes the private sector as the primary driver and attracts selective FDI associated with technology transfer.

Modern Infrastructure and Human Development

A key task is completing a synchronized infrastructure system. The implementation of the Provincial Master Plan (2021 - 2030) is being accelerated, focusing on inter-regional transport, ecological industrial parks, and smart cities.

The province aims to become a regional high-quality center for education and healthcare, particularly in ethnic minority areas. Cultural values will be leveraged to develop cultural industries and tourism, creating a stable environment for sustainable breakthroughs.
