Phu Tho Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong Attends Opening Ceremony at Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted

On the morning of September 5, Comrade Dang Xuan Phong, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, attended the opening ceremony of the 2025–2026 school year at Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted (Hoa Binh Ward).

At the ceremony, teachers and students listened to the letter from State President Luong Cuong addressed to the education sector on the occasion of the new school year. The school also welcomed 435 new 10th-grade students.

In the new school year, Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted achieved remarkable results. One hundred percent of students had good or excellent results. The graduation rate reached 100%, with an average score of 7.41, including two provincial valedictorians.

The school’s leading position in specialized education was reaffirmed. 43 students won national prizes; 5 students won First Prize in the Russian Language Olympiad and were awarded full scholarships to study in the Russian Federation.

For the 2025–2026 school year, Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted has 40 classes with 1,385 students and 123 staff members. The school has set out 7 key tasks, with an emphasis on maintaining excellence in specialized education, innovating teaching methods, promoting comprehensive digital transformation, and developing high-quality human resources in the context of the province’s merger.
