Phu Tho wins 11 medals at the National Age Group Aquatics Championships' diving event
After more than 10 days of intense competition at Tien Giang Provincial Sports Centre, the National Age Group Aquatics Championships' diving event in 2024 is closed with the most complete position belonging to Hanoi. Phu Tho team has 11 participants, competing in 18 swimming and diving contents.
Finishing the contents of the tournament, Phu Thou’s athletes excelled in winning 11 medals of all kinds, including 2 Golden Medals by Nguyen Hoang Linh in 400m swimming freedom women’s groups of ages 12-13 and Bui Van Truong in 50m diving men’s group of ages 16-18 with 1 Silver Medal and 8 Bronze Medals.
The competitors are very active at the tournament.
This year’s event was held from May 20 to 30 with the participation of over 650 athletes from 35 provinces, cities and industries across the country. The achievement of winning 11 medals by the youth athletes was considered to be a success for Phu Tho in the context of the tournament with the participation of the leading national athletes from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and the Army Division.
