On July 26, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947–2025), Mr. Dang Xuan Phong, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, visited and presented gifts to families with meritorious services and exemplary individuals in Viet Tri ward, Phu Tho Province.
Mr. Dang Xuan Phong, Provincial Party Secretary, visited and presented gifts to Ms. Nguyen Thi Sen (born in 1932) in the Le Quy Don area, wife of martyr Dao Van Vinh, who died in the resistance war against the United States.
Mr. Dang Xuan Phong and his delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Sen (born in 1932), residing in the Le Quy Don area, the wife of martyr Dao Van Vinh, who sacrificed his life during the resistance war against the United States; and to Mr. Hoang Tien Dong (born in 1945), residing in the Lang Cam area, a war invalid with a disability rate of 81%, who fought and was wounded on the Quang Tri battlefield.
At each home, Mr. Phong inquired about the families’ health and living conditions and expressed his deep gratitude for the dedication and sacrifices made by war invalids and their families in the cause of national liberation. He praised their resilience in overcoming hardships and disabilities and their continued embodiment of the qualities of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers.” He described them as shining examples of revolutionary ethics and patriotism.
He encouraged the families to uphold their revolutionary traditions, serve as role models for younger generations, and continue to educate them in the spirit of patriotism, study, and economic development. He also emphasized the importance of preserving cultural traditions and actively contributing to local and provincial development.
Mr. Phong requested that local Party committees and authorities continue to prioritize care and support for people with meritorious services and policy-beneficiary households, ensuring increasingly improved living conditions.

Receiving the heartfelt sentiments and meaningful gifts from the provincial leadership, representatives of the families expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the attention and care of the Party committees and local authorities. They pledged to preserve and promote the revolutionary legacy, faithfully implement the Party’s guidelines and the State’s laws, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, and contribute wholeheartedly to building an increasingly prosperous and beautiful homeland.
