During the session, Provincial Party Secretary Pham Dai Duong highly praised Geely’s stature as a global icon in the modern automotive industry. Geely not only owns prestigious brands such as Geely Auto, Lynk & Co, Volvo Cars, Polestar, and Lotus but also operates a worldwide manufacturing and sales network, including in Vietnam. He particularly noted Geely’s breakthrough achievements in Electric Vehicles (EV) and green transformation.
The Secretary affirmed that cooperating with Fortune Global 500 corporations like Geely perfectly aligns with Phu Tho’s strategy for high-quality, sustainable industrial development.
Reiterating the province’s consistent stance, Secretary Pham Dai Duong stated: "We consider Geely’s success in Phu Tho as our own. Phu Tho does not merely provide investment sites; we offer partnership at the highest level along with an upright and efficient administration to ensure businesses can thrive long-term with peace of mind."
He extended a formal invitation to Geely’s leadership to visit Phu Tho and requested that Geely Automobile Holdings soon dispatch an in-depth survey team to the province. This team would work to concretize cooperation details, particularly regarding the establishment of R&D centers, EV manufacturing plants, and high-tech component factories in the province’s key industrial zones.
