Immediately after casting his ballot at Polling Station No. 18, Constituency No. 3, Viet Tri Ward, Mr. Pham Dai Duong – Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee – visited and encouraged the election staff at Polling Station No. 15 (Tan Tien Residential Area - Central Pre-University Ethnic Preparatory School), Viet Tri Ward.

During the visit, Secretary Pham Dai Duong recognized and highly praised the proactiveness of the Election Team members in preparing all necessary conditions. He requested that the Viet Tri Ward Election Committee and local Election Teams continue to strengthen inspections, urge the organization of the voting process, and proactively communicate with voters to ensure full participation within the regulated time.

He particularly emphasized the management of ballots and ballot boxes, ensuring strict adherence to election laws. Functional forces must closely monitor the situation, keep an accurate count of voters, maintain security and order, and promptly handle any arising situations.

Next, Secretary Pham Dai Duong visited and inspected the operations of the Provincial Election Operations and Information Center for the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils (2026–2031 tenure), located at the Department of Home Affairs.

Addressing the Center, the Secretary emphasized its crucial role as the “command brain,” directly monitoring and guiding the election work for all constituencies and polling stations across the province. The Center is also responsible for synthesizing, updating, and reporting election information accurately and promptly.

The Secretary highlighted that this is a particularly important election, held following the rearrangement and merger of administrative units and the implementation of a two-tier local government model. Therefore, many steps in the electoral process are new and different from previous cycles.

Given the potential for unexpected situations, he urged the Center’s staff to uphold their responsibility, follow their assigned functions closely to provide timely guidance, and contribute to the overall success of the election. He noted that any major difficulties must be reported immediately to the Provincial Election Committee or the National Election Council for direction.
