iMarket Korea CEO Kim Hak Jae asserts the determination to cooperate and partner with Phu Tho province in developing modern industrial parks.

Speaking at the session, Chairman Tran Duy Dong emphasized that as a gateway connecting the Northern Midlands and Mountains with Hanoi and major economic hubs, Phu Tho possesses all the favorable conditions to accelerate industrial growth. The synchronized transportation system, seamlessly connected to Noi Bai International Airport and Hai Phong Seaport, has made Phu Tho a “strategic destination” for high-quality FDI.

As of March 2026, South Korea remains one of the province’s top strategic partners. The Chairman highly valued iMarket Korea’s extensive experience in industrial infrastructure development, noting that their presence reflects international investors' confidence in Phu Tho’s transparent and open business environment.

According to the MOU, the two parties agreed to establish a cooperation framework to jointly research and promote investment procedures for a modern industrial park. The project aims to attract infrastructure and secondary investors, prioritizing high-tech enterprises from South Korea and developed nations. iMarket Korea committed to proactively allocating resources and funding for research and project proposal preparation in accordance with Vietnamese law.

Along with cooperating on the development of synchronized technical infrastructure, applying digital transformation in industrial park management and operations, and building an industrial ecosystem linked to innovation and smart manufacturing, both parties also reached a consensus on researching and promoting the development of an Inland Container Depot (ICD) Logistics Center integrated with industrial parks. This initiative aims to optimize transportation, storage, and supply chain connectivity both domestically and internationally. Furthermore, they will coordinate investment promotion activities to attract domestic and foreign investors to industrial zones across the province.

To ensure the project is realized promptly, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Duy Dong affirmed three powerful commitments from the provincial government: Constant Partnership, as the province will stand side-by-side with the enterprise from the initial survey until the project becomes operational; Breakthrough Incentives, by creating the most favorable conditions regarding mechanisms, policies, and administrative procedures within the legal framework; and Effective Support, with functional departments responsible for providing data, offering site guidance, and swiftly resolving any arising obstacles.

The working session between Phu Tho province and iMarket Korea leadership on the afternoon of April 20 at the Provincial People’s Committee headquarters marked a significant milestone in this collaboration. The success of the project with iMarket Korea is expected to create a major momentum for the province’s industrial infrastructure, contributing to sustainable socio-economic growth and further strengthening the friendly cooperative relationship between Phu Tho and its South Korean partners.
