Amidst the majestic landscape of the Tay Thien scenic area, the 2026 Binh Ngo Spring Festival took place with solemnity, deeply imbued with spiritual essence and rich traditional cultural identity. Streams of pilgrims, traditional palanquin processions, and heartfelt incense-offering rituals created a vivid picture, leaving a profound mark on the community’s spiritual life.
Leaders of the Party, State, Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations, along with a large number of residents and tourists, pay tribute to the merits of Quoc Mau (National Mother) Lang Thi Tieu. As the Chief Consort of the 7th Hung Chieu King, she is credited with helping the Hung King expand the borders and teaching the people the art of wet-rice cultivation.
Leaders of the Party, State, and provincial authorities, together with locals and visitors from across the country, offered incense at the Upper Temple.

The palanquin procession, featuring participants in vibrant traditional costumes, vividly reenacted ancient rituals, showcasing the cultural depth of the festival. These ceremonies also carry prayers for favorable weather and bountiful harvests, reflecting the intimate connection between spiritual beliefs and the lives of the agricultural citizenry.

Flowers, fruits, and offerings are respectfully presented to Quoc Mau Tay Thien.

Following the solemn ceremonial part held with traditional rites, the festival segment unfolded vibrantly with various activities such as pounding banh giay (round sticky rice cakes) and wrapping banh chung gu (humped square glutinous rice cakes).

Folk games like “blindfolded duck catching” added to the excitement.

Additionally, exchanges of Soong Co melodies—the traditional folk singing of the San Diu ethnic group—alongside other unique musical performances, highlighted the distinct cultural identities of various ethnic groups and enhanced the experience for pilgrims visiting Tay Thien.

Within the festival space, locals and tourists captured memorable moments, contributing to the promotion of Tay Thien’s image to every corner of the country and international friends.
