On the morning of April 21, Mr. Bui Van Quang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - inspected the preparations for cultural, sports, tourism, and trade fair activities taking place during the 2026 Hung Kings Commemoration - Hung Temple Festival and Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week.

The Standing Deputy Secretary visited Van Lang Park Lake - the venue for the Rowing Contest, and the Provincial Sports Complex - the venue for the Hung Vuong Cup Volleyball Tournament. He emphasized that as these events attract a large number of people and tourists, the Organizing Committee must ensure meticulous preparation of facilities, public security, and traffic safety; medical work and environmental hygiene; and seriously implement plans for competitions, opening and closing ceremonies, refereeing, and logistics to ensure the tournaments are safe, compliant, and professional, creating a vibrant and exciting atmosphere.

Inspecting Hung Vuong Square - the site for the 2026 Hung Vuong Trade Fair, and the Tran Phu Street area (Viet Tri Ward) - the location for the “Colors of Ancestral Land Tourism” event and the Street Folk Festival, Mr. Bui Van Quang required the preparations to be methodical and scientific. Booths must be neatly arranged to reflect civility and culture while promoting the province’s tourism image and signature cuisine, facilitating a safe and joyful shopping experience for the public.

Regarding the Street Folk Festival scheduled for April 24 (the 8th day of the 3rd lunar month) with 18 mass performance troupes, the Standing Deputy Secretary highlighted its importance in this year’s cultural series. He urged the Organizing Committee and local units to proactively execute assigned tasks, strictly review infrastructure and traffic channeling plans, and ensure high-quality performances that showcase the unique cultural identities of each locality. This will contribute to a distinctive and impressive festival for pilgrims and tourists coming to Phu Tho this year.
