Deputy Minister Do Xuan Tuyen commended the achievements of Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital, recognizing it as a trusted medical facility not only for local residents but also for patients across the Northwest region. With significant investment in infrastructure, modern medical equipment, and a team of highly skilled professionals, the hospital has successfully implemented 100% of the techniques required of a grade I general hospital and 60% of those of a special-grade hospital.
The hospital has made remarkable strides in applying advanced medical technologies, particularly in organ transplantation, cardiology, and oncology. These breakthroughs have reinforced its role as a regional medical hub, laying the foundation for further advancements in the future.
To achieve its goal of becoming a special-grade hospital by 2026, Phu Tho Province must establish a clear roadmap and detailed project plan, incorporating comprehensive information technology solutions for patient care and hospital management while enhancing support for grassroots healthcare services. The Ministry of Health has pledged its assistance in this endeavor, positioning Phu Tho General Hospital as a leading regional healthcare center in the Northern Midlands and Mountainous region.
