On the afternoon of May 18, the Politburo’s Inspection and Supervision Team No. 15, led by Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc—Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Vietnam Fatherland Front and Mass Organizations and Deputy Head of the Team—held a working session with the Standing Committee of the Thanh Thuy Commune Party Committee. The meeting was also attended by Ms. Bui Thi Thu Hang—Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial Inspection Commission.

Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc—Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Vietnam Fatherland Front and Mass Organizations—delivers his concluding remarks at the working session.
Reporting on the four inspection and supervision contents, leaders of Thanh Thuy Commune stated that the commune was established through the merger of four administrative units (the former communes of Son Thuy, Doan Ha, Bao Yen, and the former Thanh Thuy Town). After nearly a year of operating under the two-tier local government model, the commune’s political system has quickly stabilized and consolidated, streamlining its apparatus into 29 subordinate agencies and units.
From July 1, 2025, to present, the Commune Party Committee has issued 613 documents, and the Commune People’s Committee has promulgated 6,876 documents to comprehensively manage all sectors, creating a synchronized legal corridor at the grassroots level. The commune has successfully decentralized and authorized 135 specialized tasks and resolved policies for redundant personnel. The assignment of key leadership positions to non-locals has been strictly implemented.
In terms of economic development, aimed at achieving an average GRDP growth rate of 10% or higher for the 2026–2030 period, the commune’s economic structure has shifted robustly. The trade, services, and tourism sectors continue to be the primary growth engines, accounting for 49.07%. Digital transformation has been accelerated, with 4G coverage completed commune-wide, 5G deployed in the central area, digital government operationalized, and community digital technology teams consolidated across all 25 residential areas.

The review and quality assessment of Party organizations and members have been conducted rigorously. In 2025, 51 out of 51 subordinate Party organizations successfully completed their tasks or higher, and the rate of Party members successfully completing their tasks reached 97.8%. The Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee was rated as “Successfully Completing Tasks” by the Provincial Party Committee, while the Commune People’s Committee was rated as “Excellently Completing Tasks” by the Provincial People’s Committee.
During the working session, Thanh Thuy Commune requested the Central Government and the province to focus resources on removing bottlenecks for key projects. Special emphasis was placed on synchronized digital infrastructure and regional transport connectivity to solidify its position as "Thanh Thuy - The Hot Spring Tourism Capital of Phu Tho Province."
The commune also proposed adding quotas for highly specialized civil servants in fields such as land management, planning, and information technology to meet demands and tasks in the new era.
During the session, the Inspection and Supervision Team and Thanh Thuy leaders discussed and clarified issues regarding the commune’s post-merger scale, grassroots-level functions and authorities, organizational apparatus, personnel capacity, and the management of redundant office headquarters.
Concluding the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc commended the positive achievements of Thanh Thuy Commune, particularly its rapid organizational stabilization post-merger, strong decentralization, and major strides in digital transformation and hot spring tourism development.
He urged the commune to continue reviewing and refining its operational regulations to enhance leadership and governance efficiency while overcoming remaining difficulties to fulfill all tasks. The Inspection and Supervision Team acknowledged and summarized the local achievements and proposals to submit to the Politburo for consideration and resolution.
