Vice Chairman Vu Viet Van directs the acceleration of compensation and site clearance for the Yen Lac - Dragon City Urban Area Project.

The Yen Lac - Dragon City Urban Area Project currently has 150 households who have not yet agreed to asset inventory or compensation with a total of approximately 8.7 hectares.

After hearing the report, Vice Chairman Vu Viet Van requested local authorities and relevant departments to focus on resolving these bottlenecks. He emphasized the need to enhance communication to gain public consensus, striving to hand over “clean land” to the investor by the first quarter of 2026.

The investor was urged to proactively cooperate with local authorities on compensation and site clearance, adopting a “clear-as-you-go” construction approach to ensure the project stays on schedule.

Vice Chairman Vu Viet Van inspects the construction site of Ring Road 3 (Yen Lac - Binh Duong section) under the Provincial Transport Development Plan.

Regarding key transport projects, including Ring Road 3 (Yen Lac - Binh Duong section), the Parallel Road with Hanoi - Lao Cai Railway (from Hop Thinh - Dao Tu road to the Vinh Yen bus station intersection), and the Tay Thien - Tam Son Road (sections from Tay Thien to Hop Ly Bridge and from National Highway 2C to Van Truc Lake), site clearance currently faces difficulties related to land and asset valuation and resettlement arrangements. Additionally, the rising costs of construction materials—particularly fill dirt and sand—along with challenges in arranging storage sites and waste disposal areas, have impacted construction progress.

Highlighting the pivotal role of these key transport projects in the province’s socio-economic development, Vice Chairman Vu Viet Van demanded that departments, sectors, and localities be proactive in troubleshooting.

He also directed the urgent completion of compensation, support, and resettlement procedures to hand over clean sites to investors as soon as possible. Specialized agencies must proactively address difficulties in sourcing fill dirt and propose appropriate mechanisms to ensure the supply of construction materials, thereby accelerating project progress and contributing to local socio-economic growth.
