VICEM Song Thao Cement Joint Stock Company contributes over 42 billion VND to the budget
On January 18, Vicem Song Thao Cement Joint Stock Company held a conference to summarize Party work, production, and business work in 2023 and deploy solutions to carry out tasks in 2024.
In 2023, the Company’s clinker production output reached 890,678 tons, and the average furnace productivity reached 2,817.4 tons of clinker per day, 13% higher than expected. The output of processed cement for Vicem Hai Phong reached 976,788 tons, meeting market demand and in line with market developments, improving product quality.
In 2023, the Company promoted and implemented many technical solutions, contributing to reducing production costs, saving non-renewable resources, solving environmental problems according to the Green VICEM orientation, and increasing manufacturing efficiency. Net revenue reached over 1,074 billion VND, contributed over 42 billion VND to the budget, and created stable jobs for 471 workers with an average salary of 15.2 million VND/person/month.
In 2024, along with maintaining stable product quality, improving service quality before and after sales; and improving and enhancing product productivity, the Company focuses on promoting and enhancing the effectiveness of innovation programs; strengthening research and application of technical improvement solutions and initiatives in production to reduce production costs and product prices. The company strives to complete the production plan of 898 thousand tons of clinker, and 1,010 thousand tons of cement, of which more than 20,000 tons are exported. The company keeps focusing on projects, including the Ninh Dan Limestone Mine Expansion project and the Emission Heat Utilization project for electricity generation.
