As a dynamic and innovative locality with strong advantages in developing the digital economy, Phu Tho Province has, in recent years, issued numerous programs and action plans on digital transformation, focusing on three main pillars: digital government, digital economy, and digital society.
In 2025, the province hosted the forum “Building a Local Digital Economy on a High-Tech Supply Chain Platform.” Within the framework of the event, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Kami Manufacturing Technology JSC, the Center for Application and Innovation, Trong Hieu Services and Environment Co., Ltd., CNCTech Group JSC (CNCTech), Vinh Phuc Pharmaceutical JSC, and Vinh Phuc College of Technology and Engineering.

CNCTech—pioneering in industrial manufacturing and green industrial park infrastructure development.
Under the agreement, CNCTech and Kami will jointly deploy the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in industrial production and supply chains; collaborate on high-tech workforce training; build an innovation ecosystem in high-tech industries; and implement pilot projects as well as technology demonstration centers.
Currently, thousands of enterprises in the province are operating in information technology, electronics, telecommunications, digital technology, and digital-platform-based logistics and transportation services. Notably, 100% of enterprises now use e-invoices, and all supermarkets and shopping centers have adopted cashless POS payment systems. Telecommunications infrastructure continues to expand, with 3G and 4G coverage across the entire province and more than 60 5G stations by Viettel and VNPT already in operation.
This creates a crucial foundation for both citizens and businesses to accelerate the adoption of digital technology in management, production, commerce, and daily consumption. To date, tens of thousands of digital signatures—via Token, SIM, HSM, and Smart devices—have been issued to organizations, businesses, and individuals for electronic transactions.

These results reflect the strong commitment and determined efforts of provincial authorities, sectors, and the business community in advancing digital transformation. The digital economy is increasingly permeating all aspects of life, becoming a key driver of growth.
In the first nine months of 2025, the province’s GRDP grew by 10.0% year-on-year, higher than the Government’s target in Resolution No. 226/NQ-CP issued on August 5, 2025 (+10%). This reaffirms the leading role of the industry–construction sector. Other sectors—including budget revenue, development investment, trade and services, business support, and social welfare—also recorded positive outcomes, creating favorable momentum for socio-economic development in the coming years.
Particularly notable is the industrial production index, which increased by 27% compared to the same period in 2024. FDI attraction is estimated at USD 912.5 million, up 39% year-on-year and reaching 86.2% of the 2025 target. Domestic direct investment (DDI) is estimated at VND 62.3 trillion—nearly triple the same period—achieving 72.2% of the 2025 plan.
To ensure that the digital economy truly becomes a core engine for growth, the province will continue enhancing public and business awareness of the importance of digital transformation, while encouraging enterprises to adopt new technologies and drive innovation in production and business activities.
