Viet Tri is a locality with the largest and most unique intangible cultural heritage system, clearly reflecting the customs and daily life of the people from the period when the Hung Kings built the country. The original land of the ancient capital Van Lang has become a famous destination in the journey to discover the land of the Vietnamese people’s origins with 50 historical relics, of which the Hung Kings’ Temple Historical Relic Site is ranked Special National class; There are 31 relics including communal houses, pagodas, temples, and shrines worshiping Hung Kings, their wives, children, and generals.

The area has 35 unique and typical festivals that are still being preserved and practiced by the government and residential communities such as: Boating festival (Bach Hac), pounding banh day (Mo Chu Ha), palanquin procession in Hung Lo village, the procession of Mr. Khuu and Mrs. Khuu in Thanh Dinh, the wrestling festival in Lau Thuong, the Tich Dien ceremony in Minh Nong... The restored traditional festivals have created the unique cultural appearance of Viet Tri - a festival city returning to the origin of the Vietnamese nation.

The city has directed relevant departments and units to decorate public trees, lighting systems, and traffic signals, with a special focus on maintaining and taking care of flower gardens and ornamental plants in Van Lang Park, Hung Vuong Square and other public areas of the city, traffic medians, roundabouts and traffic islands. Decorating and planting new flower gardens and landscapes at some intersections on Hung Vuong, Nguyen Tat Thanh, Phu Dong streets... strimming, cutting grass, whitewashing tree stumps on streets and roads; Adding more lighting systems and decorative flowers in public areas, main urban roads, agencies and units on the road sides...
