Phu Tho Province Human Resources Workshop enters a New Era and 2025 Job Fair

On the morning of November 28, the Phu Tho Province Human Resources Workshop enters a New Era and the 2025 Job Fair took place at Hung Vuong University. The event was attended by Mr. Tran Duy Dong – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC); Mr. Nguyen Khac Hieu – Vice Chairman of the PPC; and leaders from the Employment Agency – Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Vocational Education and Continuing Education Agency – Ministry of Education and Training.

At the workshop, delegates discussed and exchanged solutions to address the supply-demand imbalance in the labor market, the scarcity of high-skilled labor, the development role of the local employment service centers, the work of planning the network of vocational education institutions, and the renovation and improvement of the quality of education and training, promoting the role of enterprises in cooperation training with domestic and foreign educational institutions. The workshop also created a forum for businesses to share experiences, incentive policies, and solutions for retaining employees; and for workers, pupils, and students to share difficulties and bottlenecks and propose mechanisms and policies to improve the material and spiritual lives of laborers.

The petitions and proposals from businesses, vocational education institutions, laborers, and educational facilities were directly addressed and answered by the PPC leadership and relevant departments and sectors through the dialogue forum.

Speaking at the workshop, Chairman of the PPC Tran Duy Dong acknowledged and commended the delegates' dedicated sharing. He requested relevant agencies and units to effectively implement the following tasks: Building an open, flexible human resources ecosystem that is tightly linked between the government, schools, businesses, and laborers; developing high-quality human resources for key sectors such as: Electronics industry, mechanical engineering, information technology, automation, tourism, and high-tech agriculture; linking training with the practical needs of enterprises; and promoting digital transformation, applying artificial intelligence (AI), and data exploitation in labor management, market forecasting, and job coordination.

To develop the province’s high-quality human resources in the coming time, relevant departments, sectors, and units must advise the PPC to report to the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People’s Council on issuing a human resource development policy consistent with the orientation of digital transformation and integration trends.
