OKF (Australia) Provides More Than 250 Million VND in Support to Disadvantaged Students in Ha Hoa Commune

Ahead of the 2026–2027 academic year, the Overseas Kids Foundation (OKF/Australia) in Vietnam, in coordination with the Ha Hoa Commune People’s Committee, organized a program to provide financial assistance to students facing difficult circumstances who have made efforts to excel in their studies.

At the program, 31 students in the commune received support totaling 254.35 million VND. The funding will help them purchase textbooks, school supplies and other learning materials, while also easing some of the financial burden on their families ahead of the new academic year.

Students in Ha Hoa Commune receive more than 250 million VND in support from the OKF (Australia).

Representatives of the Ha Hoa Commune authorities expressed their appreciation for OKF’s attention and support for local social welfare and education. The locality hopes that the organization will continue to support disadvantaged people, particularly students from low-income families who are striving to overcome difficulties, enabling them to continue their education.

Local authorities also encouraged the students receiving assistance to continue making efforts to overcome challenges and achieve better results in their studies and personal development.

The Overseas Kids Foundation (OKF) is an Australian non-governmental organization that has implemented aid programs in the former Phu Tho Province since 2013. In recent years, OKF has carried out various support programs in education, healthcare and community livelihood development.
