The Hung Kings' Commemoration and the Fatherland Culture - Tourism Week of the Year of the Snake 2025 will take place from March 29 to April 7, 2025 (from the 1st to the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month). To ensure the highest quality of service, accommodation facilities across the province have proactively upgraded their infrastructure, trained staff, and enhanced services to provide the best possible experience for visitors.
For the 2025 Hung Kings’ Commemoration, Phu Tho is expected to welcome approximately 4 million pilgrims. As of now, local hotels and restaurants have nearly completed preparations, including landscaping, sanitation, workforce allocation, and other essential arrangements to serve visitors. Additionally, several establishments have proactively organized training and professional development programs for their management and staff to meet tourism service requirements.
Saigon - Phu Tho Hotel has been actively preparing its facilities and training staff to welcome visitors for the 2025 Hung Kings’ Commemoration.
Currently, the province has 380 accommodation establishments, including 49 hotels rated from 1 to 5 stars and 331 guesthouses that have been certified to meet tourism service standards. This well-developed accommodation network plays a crucial role in ensuring sufficient lodging for the large number of visitors attending the festival.
In recent times, hotels and guesthouses across the province have been upgrading their facilities, renovating rooms, installing modern amenities, and focusing on creating clean, green, and aesthetically pleasing spaces. Many guesthouses and inns have also carried out maintenance, repairs, and service improvements to provide visitors with a comfortable and safe stay.
In addition to investing in infrastructure, accommodation facilities have placed special emphasis on staff training and professional development. The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has collaborated with various organizations to conduct numerous training courses for hotel and guesthouse staff, helping them improve their service skills, communication, and problem-solving abilities in the tourism sector.
The training sessions focus on both specialized skills, such as housekeeping management, front desk operations, and food service, as well as soft skills, including professional communication, customer service etiquette, and basic foreign language proficiency. Major hotels have also organized specialized training for welcoming international guests, aiming to provide professional, attentive, and thoughtful services.
Additionally, large hotels offer various travel support services, such as vehicle booking, guided tours, and digital tourism maps, making it more convenient for visitors to explore Phu Tho. Information about the festival, weather conditions, and transportation updates is regularly posted on hotel online platforms.
Social media platforms, tourism websites, and online booking applications are being fully utilized to promote accommodation facilities and provide accurate information on pricing and services. This enables visitors to easily access information and choose suitable lodging options before arriving for the festival.
With thorough preparations in place, from infrastructure upgrades to staff training, accommodation facilities in Phu Tho are ready to welcome millions of visitors for the 2025 Hung Kings’ Commemoration. Efforts to enhance service quality, ensure safety, maintain transparent pricing, and uphold professional hospitality standards will contribute to an enjoyable and fulfilling festival experience for all guests.
