On April 4 (the seventh day of the third month of the lunar calendar), the Provincial Literature and Arts Association held an art photography exhibition titled “Phu Tho—The Land of Ancestral Origin” at the Hung Vuong Museum within the Hung King Temple Historical Site.
Delegates attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the exhibition.
The exhibition features 50 photographic works by members of the photography division under the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, including several award-winning entries from both national and international competitions. These artistic creations reflect a deep affection for the homeland, its people, and the breathtaking natural beauty of the Ancestral Land.
With high artistic quality and emotional depth, the photos highlight the unique cultural identity of Phu Tho, particularly showcasing and promoting two UNESCO-recognized Intangible Cultural Heritages of Humanity: the Worship of the Hung Kings and Xoan singing of Phu Tho.
The exhibition runs from April 4 to 7 (March 7 to 10 of the lunar calendar, 2025).
Delegates and visitors took time to explore the exhibition.
The event drew significant interest from local residents and tourists alike.
The exhibition is part of a series of cultural and artistic events held in celebration of the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Anniversary and the Cultural and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the Year of the At Ty, 2025.
It also serves as a recurring platform to promote the literary and artistic achievements of Phu Tho’s artists while showcasing the region’s natural beauty and socio-economic development to both domestic and international audiences.
