Cam Khe Industrial Park (IP) features relatively well-developed technical infrastructure, convenient transportation links, a strong focus on environmental factors, and readily available clean land—core elements that have enabled the park to attract a variety of high-quality investment projects, thereby contributing to local economic growth.
With a planned area of 450 hectares, Cam Khe IP has completed land clearance on 350 hectares. The infrastructure investment project covers over 427 hectares and is developed by Duc Anh Construction Joint Stock Company. To date, total infrastructure investment has reached approximately VND 1.9 trillion. The park is designed as a multi-sector, mixed-use IP, including high-tech industries, supporting industries, consumer goods manufacturing, and several processing and manufacturing sectors... Cam Khe IP has attracted 33 investment projects, including 7 domestic projects with a total registered capital of nearly VND 5.16 trillion and 26 foreign-invested projects totaling USD 393 million. Currently, 28 projects are in operation, generating jobs for over 6,000 workers. About 125 hectares of industrial land have been leased.
Hwa Sung Vina Co., Ltd. is operating efficiently in Cam Khe IP, specializing in the production of electronic components for export.
One of Cam Khe IP’s key advantages is its strategic location near major transportation routes such as National Highway 32C, the Noi Bai–Lao Cai Expressway, and the newly operational inter-provincial road connecting Phu Tho with Yen Bai. The branch road linking the inter-provincial route to the IP, spanning over 3 kilometers, is also being expedited, enhancing the park’s multidirectional connectivity with neighboring areas.
Raindrop Vietnam Fashion Co., Ltd. has operated in Cam Khe IP since 2020, producing over 500,000 fashion products annually for export. Mr. Yu Xiang, the company’s director, shared: “Cam Khe IP’s well-developed infrastructure has enabled us to maintain stable operations for years. This has been a key factor in our decision to establish a long-term manufacturing base here.”
According to Mr. Vu Binh Phuong, Head of the Cam Khe IP Management Board: “Recognizing infrastructure as the cornerstone for capturing investment relocation trends and improving competitiveness, we’ve focused on completing internal road systems, power, water supply, wastewater treatment, and auxiliary facilities. In parallel, the province has actively improved the investment environment to best facilitate project implementation. All secondary projects are carefully selected to align with industrial development orientations, with a strong emphasis on modern machinery and technology to minimize pollution and maximize socio-economic efficiency. This is also in line with the green, environmentally friendly industrial development strategy that is gaining significant investor interest.”
In the near future, the park’s developer will continue working with relevant authorities to complete legal procedures and develop infrastructure in remaining subzones, ensuring readiness to welcome new investors. In particular, the recent expansion of administrative boundaries following the merger opens up new development potential, creating favorable conditions for Cam Khe IP to attract capital inflows and gradually affirm its position on the province’s industrial map.
