TASA Group Joint Stock Company is a business specializing in the production of building materials, established in 2013 at the Thuy Van Industrial Park in Viet Tri City. As of today, the company has 8 production lines with an output capacity of 24 million square meters per year, with a total investment of nearly 2,000 billion VND, providing jobs for nearly 1,000 employees with an average income of over 11 million VND per person per month.
Mrs. Ta Thi Minh Thu, Chairperson of the company’s trade union, shared that the company places great emphasis on protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers. The company’s trade union actively advises and engages in dialogue with the Board of Directors to establish a collective labor agreement (CLA), while also ensuring the proper implementation of policies regarding wages, social insurance, health insurance, labor protection, and timely payment of salaries and benefits for employees.
During holidays and Tet, the company provides bonuses and allowances, and any employee concerns are heard and addressed in a fair and democratic manner. As a result, employees are very confident in their work, engaged in labor competition, and increasing productivity, contributing to the overall success of the company.
The harmonious labor relations between the company and its employees have long been seen as a key factor in its development. Addressing any labor-related issues, minimizing disputes, and ensuring that the CLA is of high quality and aligned with practical realities are critical to safeguarding employees’ rights and benefits. At the same time, it helps to build a harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relationship within the company.
In 2024, nearly 80% of production and business units have held employee conferences; 86% have organized workplace dialogues; and over 90 units have signed, amended, or supplemented CLAs with terms that are more beneficial to employees than the legal requirements.
In companies with labor relations issues, the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, trade unions, and other relevant agencies proactively monitor and engage with both employers and employees. Dialogue sessions between employers and employees are organized to find solutions, ensuring stability and fairness for the workforce.
Pham Thi Thu Huong, a member of the Standing Committee, Director of Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, emphasized that to protect the legitimate rights and interests of employees, every year, the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, along with the trade unions at all levels in the province, cooperate with relevant authorities to inspect, monitor, and supervise the implementation of labor policies and regulations at enterprises. This aims to promptly identify and recommend solutions for any shortcomings or issues in the enforcement of laws on labor, wages, social insurance, and other related matters. The Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs has proactively guided businesses in building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in the current context; organized workshops and seminars at businesses to raise awareness of relevant laws; and received, assessed, and issued notices confirming labor regulations, as well as negotiating and signing collective labor agreements.
