Consultative Conference on the Election of the Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, 15th Term (2024–2029)

On February 18, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee (15th term, 2024–2029) convened the Fourth Conference to consult and elect its Chairman.

The conference was attended by Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phung Khanh Tai, along with members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee: Bui Dinh Thi, Head of the Organization Committee; Dinh Cong Thuc, Head of the Inspection Committee; and Nguyen Hai, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phung Khanh Tai, along with other delegates, presented flowers to congratulate Dinh Cong Thuc, the newly elected Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

The conference approved the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee regarding the nomination and election process for the Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial Fatherland Front Committee (2024–2029 term). Additionally, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented a report on the supplementary appointment of committee members, Standing Committee members, and the Chairman.

Comrade Nguyen Hai delivered the opening remarks at the conference.

Based on the resolution, members of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee consulted and elected comrade Dinh Cong Thuc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee - as Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the 15th term (2024–2029).

Speaking at the assignment ceremony, Comrade Dinh Cong Thuc expressed his deep gratitude for the attention and trust of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial Fatherland Front Party Delegation. He also sincerely thanked the members of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for consulting and electing him to the Committee, the Standing Committee, and the position of Chairman for the 15th term (2024–2029).

In his new position, he pledged to uphold and promote the proud traditions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. He emphasized his commitment to fostering unity and responsibility, applying his experience in working with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to strengthen and preserve the great national unity bloc. Additionally, he aims to enhance the effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements and social campaigns initiated by the Front and socio-political organizations. He also affirmed his dedication to contributing to the building of a clean, strong Party and government, ensuring the successful fulfillment of tasks entrusted by the Party and the State.

The newly elected Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Dinh Cong Thuc, delivered his acceptance speech.

He expressed his hope to continue receiving guidance from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and members of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; member organizations, as well as the encouragement and shared experiences of previous generations of leaders. Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of solidarity among the staff and civil servants of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, particularly within the Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels. He affirmed that this collective effort would contribute to strengthening the great national unity bloc and advancing Phu Tho province as a leading force in the development of the Northern Midlands and Mountainous region.

On this occasion, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phung Khanh Tai and other delegates presented flowers to congratulate the newly elected Chairman, Dinh Cong Thuc, and bid farewell to Comrade Nguyen Hai as he transitions to a new role.
