Following the Tet holiday, businesses across the province have resumed operations for 2025, bringing renewed activity to Phu Tho’s labor market. According to data from the Employment Promotion Center, companies in the province are looking to recruit an average of 20,000 workers per month.
Sunrise Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd. (located in Cam Khe Industrial Park) is among the enterprises with a high annual demand for new employees.
The majority of job vacancies are concentrated in industries such as electronics, textiles, packaging, footwear, and wood production. Businesses with large-scale recruitment needs (seeking thousands of workers or more) are primarily located in industrial parks and clusters, including Phu Ha Industrial Park (Phu Tho Town), Cam Khe Industrial Park (Cam Khe District), Yen Lap Town Industrial Cluster (Yen Lap District), and Phu Gia Industrial Cluster (Phu Ninh District).
The surge in post-Tet recruitment aims to compensate for workforce turnover as employees leave or switch jobs. This trend is expected to persist throughout 2025, particularly in sectors such as manufacturing, services, trade, and information technology.
Industries related to digital transformation and green technology are predicted to attract a growing workforce in the coming years. At TOYO SOLAR Company (Cam Khe Industrial Park), production lines are increasingly incorporating advanced technologies, reflecting this shift.
According to recruitment agency surveys, roles such as general laborers, sales staff, and technology technicians are expected to be in high demand. This is driven by business expansion and the growing influence of digital transformation across industries.
However, intense competition in the labor market poses challenges for both employers and job seekers. Companies face pressure to attract and retain skilled employees, while job seekers—particularly young candidates and recent graduates—must meet increasingly stringent requirements for qualifications, skills, and experience.
Experts suggest that businesses should not only focus on offering competitive salaries and benefits but also prioritize creating an engaging and dynamic work environment. This will help retain top talent and foster sustainable growth in the long term.
