In 2024, the impact of inflation, strong fluctuations in international markets, and the effects of Storm No. 3 have presented significant difficulties and challenges for businesses in general, and those in industrial parks (IPs) in particular. However, with efforts to seek orders, restructure production, and the supportive policies from various levels and sectors, businesses in the IPs in the province have shown signs of recovery.

Industrial parks not only contribute to increasing industrial production value and export turnover but also play a key role in attracting investment capital and developing a high-quality workforce. The province currently has four operational industrial parks, attracting nearly 170 businesses, including over 80 foreign-invested enterprises. In 2024, the revenue of businesses is expected to reach over 80,000 billion VND, an increase of about 30% compared to the same period last year, creating jobs for 60,000 workers with an average income of over 7 million VND per person per month.
Tasa Group Joint Stock Company (Thuy Van IP, Viet Tri City) specializes in producing ceramic tiles, with an estimated production output of around 24 million square meters in 2024. Ms. Ta Thi Minh Thu, Head of the Administration and Organization Department at the company, shared: “The company diversifies its products, offering ceramic and granite tiles with large sizes, special effects, and glazed ceramic tiles. Along with improving product quality, the company aims to diversify its market and expand sales abroad. We focus on maintaining good relationships with old customers and enhancing efforts in exploring new markets, closely monitoring market developments to ensure quality and competitive pricing.”
To support business development, the province has promptly implemented policies to resolve difficulties and obstacles for businesses, especially in land clearance. In 2024, the first phase of Phu Ha Industrial Park (IP) was completed, and the basic land clearance for Cam Khe IP was carried out. Along with this, monetary policies have been eased, and lending interest rates have been reduced, which has helped businesses increase their recovery ability and expand production and business operations. In the final months of the year, the production situation of businesses gradually improved, taking advantage of opportunities and securing more new orders.
Shinsung Vina Co., Ltd. (Cam Khe IP) is a 100% Korean-invested enterprise that started operations in 2019, primarily producing PP fiber and strapping tape. The company’s estimated revenue for 2024 is over 180 billion VND. CEO Shin Chun Ki stated: "Our company focuses on investing in research and development of new products, from standard strapping tapes to special products for various industries. The demand for strapping tapes from partners is quite high at the end of the year. Therefore, to ensure quality, delivery time, and meet production targets and plans for 2024, we have already planned raw materials and focused on equipment maintenance."
Industrial parks play a crucial role in the process of industrialization, modernization, and attracting investment to the province. Currently, the province is focusing on mobilizing and encouraging socialized resources for investing in and operating the infrastructure of industrial parks and complexes. The province prioritizes investment in the development of transportation systems that connect these industrial parks and complexes with the main transport networks, ensuring smooth and synchronized connections, creating strong momentum for the socio-economic development in general and industrial development in particular. For sustainable development, companies in the industrial parks themselves need to proactively continue building production and business plans, expand markets, and enhance the update of new regulations while fully implementing legal policies during their production and business operations.
