Fisherman Phu Tho won the Silver Medal at the 2023 Asian Youth Diving Championship
The 2023 Asian Youth Diving Championship has just ended in Phuket - Thailand with the participation of more than 370 athletes from 15 countries and territories on the continent.
In particular, in the 4x100m propeller diving relay final competition, fisherman Bui Van Truong - Phu Tho Diving Team along with athletes: Nguyen Ngoc Quang Minh - Ho Chi Minh City; Pham Thanh Dai - Quang Binh and Dang Phu Quoc - Hanoi City competed excellently to bring home the Silver Medal for the Vietnam Diving Team with a record of 2 minutes 38 seconds 05.

Young fisherman Bui Van Truong was born in 2006, is from Chi Tien commune, Thanh Ba district and is currently on the staff of the Phu Tho Diving Team. Even though he is only 17 years old, Truong has proven himself with many high achievements at competitions nationwide in recent years. Being selected for the National Diving Team to compete and achieve high results will motivate Van Truong to continue training and accumulate experience to reach further in upcoming competitions.
