Focusing on Removing Bottlenecks and Accelerating the Resolution of Outstanding, Prolonged Projects

On the morning of September 25, Comrade Pham Dai Duong — Member of the Party Central Committee, Provincial Party Secretary, and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies — chaired a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to hear reports on the resolution status of outstanding and prolonged projects across the province.

Attending the conference were Comrades: Tran Duy Dong — Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Bui Van Quang — Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Bui Duc Hinh — Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Bui Thi Minh — Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Bui Huy Vinh — Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and Nguyen Manh Son — Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

Also in attendance were representatives of the Central Inspection Commission, members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee, and relevant departments, boards, and sectors.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee heard the Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee report on the progress of reviewing and handling projects, existing difficulties and bottlenecks, and proposed tasks and solutions for the coming period.

Delegates discussed and contributed opinions aimed at accelerating resolution progress while ensuring strict compliance with legal regulations and suitability with the practical circumstances of each project.

Delivering concluding remarks, Provincial Party Secretary Pham Dai Duong emphasized: Resolving difficulties and obstacles for outstanding, prolonged projects is a crucial task aimed at unlocking resources, preventing and combating waste, and driving the province’s socio-economic development.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee to continue leading and directing the review of each project; clearly define specific tasks, implementing agencies, and resolution timelines; and promptly report to competent authorities regarding remaining difficulties or obstacles. Alongside this, relevant agencies must enhance coordination, monitoring, and progress reporting in accordance with regulations.
