Groundbreaking Ceremony for Social Housing Project in Thanh Mieu Ward

On December 30, GPH Vietnam Joint Stock Company held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Social Housing Project in Thanh Mieu Ward. This is the 10th social housing project to commence construction in 2025 and the 5th since the establishment of the newly merged Phu Tho Province.

The project spans a total area of over 1 hectare, featuring two 15-story apartment towers, two basements, and a separate 3-story parking building. With a total of 491 apartments, the project will accommodate approximately 2,000 residents. The construction density is kept at around 32%. A highlight of this project is the parking area, which exceeds the standards of many commercial housing developments, ensuring long-term parking needs for its residents.

The buildings feature modern architectural styles with optimized functional layouts. Finishing materials have been meticulously selected to ensure quality and aesthetics comparable to commercial housing. Additionally, an internal landscaping and garden system will be developed synchronously. The investor has committed to completing and handing over the project within 2026.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Vu Viet Van emphasized the significance of the project in expanding the social housing fund, contributing to social welfare and improving the quality of life for the people. He praised the efforts and determination of the investor, provincial departments, the Thanh Mieu Ward authorities, and relevant agencies in finalizing the procedures for the groundbreaking.

The Vice Chairman specifically acknowledged the investment in two basements and a separate parking building, identifying this as a model social housing project that ensures full amenities and functionality. He affirmed that this project plays a crucial role in fulfilling the social housing targets assigned by the Prime Minister’s Scheme. He also urged the investor to focus resources on construction to ensure quality, progress, and reasonable pricing, while strictly complying with legal regulations on planning, land, investment, construction, and environmental protection.
