Ninh Binh Provincial Party Standing Committee Delegation Visits and Works with Phu Tho Province

On the afternoon of February 28, a delegation from the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Standing Committee, led by Mr. Dang Xuan Phong — Member of the Party Central Committee, Provincial Party Secretary, and Head of the Ninh Binh National Assembly Delegation — visited and held a working session with Phu Tho Province.

Welcoming the delegation were: Mr. Tran Duy Dong — Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Bui Van Quang — Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; along with other members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and leaders of various provincial departments.

Expressing his delight during the visit in the early days of the 2026 Lunar New Year, the Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee Dang Xuan Phong congratulated Phu Tho province on its comprehensive development. Regarding Ninh Binh, he noted that after its administrative merger, the province has quickly stabilized its organizational apparatus, with synchronized investment in transport infrastructure creating momentum for investment attraction.

The Ninh Binh Party Secretary remarked that both provinces share many similarities, such as being merged from three former provinces and possessing great potential in culture and spiritual tourism. Therefore, both sides will continue to support each other through development cooperation.

Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee, Tran Duy Dong, warmly welcomed the delegation and provided a brief overview of the province’s socio-economic highlights in 2025. Despite numerous challenges, Phu Tho achieved comprehensive results through solidarity and the drastic involvement of the political system, creating a solid foundation for 2026 and the following years.

The Chairman expressed his desire for both provinces to exchange and share experiences in leadership and governance to successfully fulfill political tasks, ensuring socio-economic goals, national defense, security, and Party building.

*Offering Incense at the Hung Kings’ Temple Historic Site

On the same day, the Ninh Binh delegation offered incense in memory of the Hung Kings at the Hung Kings’ Temple Special National Historic Site.

Subsequently, the delegation offered incense at the Hung Kings’ Mausoleum, paid tribute to the National Ancestor Lac Long Quan, and planted commemorative trees within the historic site.

Earlier, the delegation had also offered incense to Mother Ancestor Au Co in Hien Luong Commune and planted commemorative trees at the Au Co Mother Temple.
