On April 8, an international Famtrip (Familiarization trip) delegation consisting of several global travel enterprises conducted a survey of spiritual and wellness tourism routes at the Tay Thien Special National Site, Tam Dao National Tourist Area, and other prominent local destinations.
The international delegation visits and surveys the Tay Thien Scenic and Historic Site.
This activity is part of a program organized by the Phu Tho Tourism Association in coordination with the Vietnam Tourism Association and the Phu Tho Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. The international Famtrip delegation includes 88 members from 8 countries and territories, including South Korea, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong (China), Myanmar, and Malaysia. The survey of Phu Tho’s tourism sector spans two days, April 8 and 9.
At each destination, representatives from the travel companies were introduced to the cultural and historical values, as well as the potential for spiritual, wellness, and ecological tourism. They also had the opportunity to directly experience the region’s signature tourism products and services.
During this field survey in Phu Tho, the delegation was divided into four separate groups to evaluate various wellness and spiritual tourism sites across the province.

The international delegation evaluates tourism services at the Tam Dao Golf Course.
This experiential tourism program serves as a vital opportunity for international travel enterprises to gain a deeper understanding of the land and people of Phu Tho and its surrounding areas. This insight will enable them to design suitable tours and routes, connecting and bringing international tourists to Phu Tho in the near future.
Furthermore, it provides a platform for the local tourism industry to strengthen its brand image and promote development linkages, gradually transforming tourism into a key economic sector for the province.
