Lam Thao mobilized more than 264 billion VND for new rural development.
In 2023, the entire Lam Thao district has mobilized 264.16 billion VND for new rural development, of which the provincial and central budget is 29.73 billion VND; the district budget is 71.6 billion VND; the commune budget is 41.33 billion VND; The people and business community contributed 121.52 billion VND.
In addition, the district supported 3,684.25 tons of cement for communes to build rural roads; invested in renovating and upgrading 31,733km of rural roads, of which: 11,631km of commune roads; 13,564km of village roads and alleys; 6,538km of inland traffic combined with irrigation canals, basically meeting the requirements for agricultural production and people’s daily life. The district also spent 1,350 billion VND in bonuses for residential areas that meet model standards in 2023 and 230 million VND to support the construction of 23 new cultural houses in residential areas. There were 146 households who voluntarily moved the fence and donated 2,352 square meters of land for model new rural construction in residential areas.
Focusing on mobilizing resources to for new rural development, in 2023, Lam Thao district will have 21 more residential areas recognized as model new rural areas, bringing the total number of model new rural areas in the district to 52 (expected to by the end of December 2023, there will be 7 more areas achieving model standards, increasing the number of model new rural areas to 59 areas). Currently, documents are being prepared to submit to the province for appraisal of workers at Tu Xa commune, Thach Son commune to satisfy the advanced new rural commune, Son Vy commune, Vinh Lai commune, Cao Xa commune to satisfy the model new rural commune...
