On March 25, the Provincial Police Department held a conference to implement security measures for the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the 2025 Fatherland Culture & Tourism Week. Colonel Nguyen Minh Tuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Director of the Provincial Police Department, attended and chaired the conference.
Speaking at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Minh Tuan stated that the Provincial People’s Committee had issued a plan assigning the Provincial Police Department as the lead agency responsible for ensuring security and order for delegations of Party and State leaders, international guests, and major political, cultural, and festival events. Based on this plan, the Provincial Police Department has formulated specific measures, mobilizing nearly 1,000 officers. In coordination with professional departments of the Ministry of Public Security and police forces from centrally governed provinces and cities, the department is intensifying intelligence gathering, information exchange, and strict monitoring of various subjects. Efforts are being made to prevent and suppress crimes and legal violations at an early stage to avoid unexpected incidents.
The Provincial Police Department has requested the 2nd Military Region Command and relevant provincial departments to enhance coordination and information sharing in case of arising situations. Public awareness campaigns will be strengthened to encourage residents and visitors to remain vigilant, protect their belongings, and prevent overcrowding and stampedes. Fire prevention and firefighting measures, especially forest fire prevention, will be reinforced. Strict control over cultural activities and services will be implemented, with decisive actions taken against cultural products that do not align with national traditions. Additionally, authorities will promptly detect and strictly handle cases of misinformation and sensationalized news that may affect law enforcement forces and the organization of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day in Phu Tho Province.
Traffic guidance signs will be installed along the routes leading to the Hung Kings’ Temple to facilitate convenient travel for residents and visitors. These efforts will contribute to ensuring absolute security and safety for the 2025 Hung Kings' Commemoration Day.
