Offerings of Banh Chung and Banh Giay
According to tradition, on the occasion of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day—Hung King Temple Festival every year, the teams that won the first prize in the previous year’s Wrapping Banh Chung and Pounding Banh Giay Contest will present their offerings to the Hung Kings the following year. The cakes are made from the quintessence of fragrant rice grains from heaven and earth, prepared by the skilled hands of local folk artisans. Beautiful and delicious, they express the heartfelt gratitude of the descendants of Lac Hong to their ancestors, honoring their roots.
