People stands in the rain to watch the military march and parade on the streets of Dien Bien Phu
On the morning of May 7, the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) took place solemnly at Dien Bien Provincial Stadium. Right from early morning, despite the heavy rain, thousands of people and tourists gathered on both sides of the road excitedly watching the parade of forces on the main streets of Dien Bien Phu City.
Early in the morning, even though it was raining heavily, people lined up to wait for the parade.
The rain did not diminish the excitement and anticipation of the people on the anniversary day.
People and tourists gathered on the main street where ceremonial blocs would go parading and marching through.
Many people wore red shirts with yellow stars uniforms, lining up neatly and orderly on the sidewalk.
The smiles of delegates from the wounded and sick soldiers, families under the preferential treatment policy, and people with meritorious service.
The red flags with the yellow stars in hand were ready to flutter when the military parade passed by.
The functional forces were responsible for directing traffic and maintaining order and safety for the people.
Even though they were busy on duty, smiles were always on the soldiers' faces.
