On April 19, the provincial Department of Education and Training collaborated with Viettel Phu Tho to hold a seminar titled "Digital School Records Solution".
Recently, the whole education and training sector has aggressively encouraged the use of information technology and implemented digital transformation in educational management, including the trial of a digital school records system. To effectively implement digital school records (or e-school records) locally, the provincial Department of Education and Training has worked closely with units that provide advice and training to teachers and administrators so that they understand the process and how to utilize it. Using digital school records initially has several benefits, including less accounting burden for instructors and schools, as well as more openness and transparency in evaluating and categorizing pupils, hence leading to improved educational quality.
At the meeting, representatives of Viettel Phu Tho leaders presented the findings of a recent pilot deployment of digital school records in educational institutions. Viettel Phu Tho has been the province’s pioneer and leader in deploying digital school records apps since 2021, with 124 schools ranging from elementary to high school, as well as local Continuing Education Centers. Viettel Phu Tho’s digital school records services are implemented in compliance with Ministry of Education and Training rules, protecting information security, providing several practical benefits, and garnering excellent comments from instructors.
Viettel Phu Tho’s leadership representative briefed on the outcomes of a pilot program to introduce digital school records in educational institutions.
Delegates focused on digital school records, particularly those at the primary level. The session provided a wealth of knowledge and practical solutions for developing and perfecting the model and management process, as well as using digital school records as a foundation for implementing unified digital school records across the province.
