On the evening of July 12, at Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, the Young Pioneers and Children Newspaper, in coordination with Phu Tho Province, organized the awarding ceremony of the “National English Champion Festival” 2025.

Attending the ceremony on behalf of the central authorities were Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Central Youth Union and Chairwoman of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers; representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training; and leaders of the Young Pioneers and Children Newspaper.

Representing Phu Tho Province were Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Huy Ngoc, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; leaders from several provincial departments, agencies, and units; and 200 student contestants from across the country.

First launched in 2018, the National English Champion Festival has become a meaningful platform that attracts a large number of English-loving students nationwide. Through the program, participants not only sharpen their skills but also connect with peers, exchange ideas, and share their passion for language and lifelong learning.

The Organizing Committee presents the Creative Champion award.

In 2025, the Organizing Committee received more than 10,000 entries from students across cities and provinces. From the preliminary round, the 200 most outstanding candidates advanced to the final round.

Over the three-day Final Round (July 10–12, 2025), contestants competed in writing and presentation rounds. In addition, they participated in a wide range of extracurricular activities, including a visit to the Hung Kings Temple Historical Site, group performances, mini-games, fashion shows, and team-building activities.

The Organizing Committee awards the Commemorative Medal to sponsors and supporting units.

In the end, the Championship title was awarded to four contestants: Tran Ngoc Anh Thu, a student of Class 9A3 at Van Yen Secondary School in Hanoi; Lai Chau Linh Dan, from Class 8A2 of the Foreign Language Secondary School in Hanoi; Do Hoai An, from Class 6E of Thach That Secondary School in Hanoi; and Le Khanh Chi, a student of Class 7A at Van Lang Secondary School in Phu Tho.

In addition to the Championship awards, the Organizing Committee presented 40 English Champion prizes, 20 Creative Champion prizes, 19 Style Champion prizes, 20 Confident Champion prizes, and 91 Active Champion prizes to outstanding contestants from across the country.
