The Vietnamese youth Wushu team wrapped up the 2025 Asian Youth Wushu Championship in China with an impressive haul of 2 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals. Notably, 2 Phu Tho athletes, Nguyen Khac Le Hoang and Chu Tue Anh, secured a “double” victory with one gold and one bronze medal each.

Chu Tue Anh delivered an outstanding performance throughout the tournament in China.
Of the four medals claimed by the Phu Tho pair, Nguyen Khac Le Hoang earned a gold medal in the men’s Tai Chi event and a bronze medal in the men’s Tai Chi Fan (Group A) category. Chu Tue Anh secured one gold medal in the women’s Tai Chi (Group B) event and one bronze medal in the women’s Tai Chi Sword (Group B) event.

The 2025 Asian Youth Wushu Championship is part of the official competition program of the Asian Wushu Federation. The tournament brought together top young athletes from across Asia to compete at a high level.

Both Le Hoang and Tue Anh, champions of the 2024 World Tai Chi and Tai Chi Sword Championships, continued to demonstrate their strong form at this year’s tournament.
Their remarkable achievements have provided a boost of confidence and competitive spirit, motivating them to continue training toward future international competitions. Their immediate goal is to earn spots on the national team representing Vietnam at the 33rd SEA Games, set to take place in Thailand at the end of this year.
