Opening of the 2026 Tay Thien Traditional Volleyball Tournament
On the morning of April 1, at the Tay Thien Festival Cultural Center, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism held the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Tay Thien Traditional Volleyball Tournament. Attending the ceremony was Ms. Phung Thi Kim Nga – Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

The 2026 Tay Thien Traditional Volleyball Tournament takes place over two days, from April 1 to 2, gathering 9 teams with the participation of 120 athletes from various localities and units, including: Vinh Hung, Tam Dao, Lac Son, Hop Ly, Hoa Binh, Vinh Phuc, Thong Nhat, Hoang An, and Hung Vuong University.
The event is not only an exciting sporting arena but also carries great socio-cultural significance, contributing to the enhancement of spiritual life, spreading the spirit of solidarity, and educating on the tradition of "when drinking water, remember its source." At the same time, it serves to promote the Tay Thien scenic landscape in association with local tourism development.
The tournament also provides an opportunity for exchange and learning among athletes and localities, promoting the mass physical training and sports movement and contributing to the overall success of the 2026 Tay Thien Festival.
