Solemn Reception of Delegations for the Hung Kings' Commemoration at Hung Temple

This morning, April 26 (the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month), at the Hung Temple Historic Site, members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial People’s Council, and the Provincial People’s Committee solemnly organized a reception for leaders of the Party, State, and Government; leaders of central ministries and agencies; leaders of Phu Tho Province and other provinces and cities; as well as a large number of compatriots and overseas Vietnamese attending the 2026 Hung Kings' Commemoration.

From 5:30 AM to 6:00 AM, ceremonial forces gathered and finalized all preparations.

According to the official schedule, from 5:30 AM to 6:00 AM, the ceremonial forces gathered and completed their formation preparations. From 6:00 AM to 6:30 AM, provincial delegates arrived and took their designated positions. Precisely from 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM, the Organizing Committee conducted the formal reception for the delegations of Party and State leaders, central ministries, and local authorities at the Festival Center, while finalizing the ceremonial formation.

The ceremonial lineup was strictly organized and dignified.

The ceremonial lineup was meticulously and solemnly arranged, consisting of: the guard of honor carrying the National and Festival flags; guards carrying floral wreaths; 18 young women in traditional red ao dai bearing incense, flowers, and ritual offerings; a delegation of 100 descendants of Lac Hong carrying festival flags; the ceremonial orchestra; and the palanquin procession.

Following the reception, the high-level delegations joined the ceremonial procession to conduct the Incense and Flower Offering Ceremonies at the Upper Temple, the Hung King’s Tomb, and the relief “Uncle Ho talking to officers and soldiers of the Pioneer Army Corps” at the Temple Well intersection. This site is home to President Ho Chi Minh’s immortal teaching: "The Hung Kings had the merit of founding the country, you and I must together defend it." The delegation also offered incense at the Temple of National Ancestor Lac Long Quan to express deep gratitude for the merit of the Hung Kings in founding the nation.
