Since April 17 (the 1st day of the 3rd lunar month), the Organizing Committee has received numerous artistic orchid works from clubs and nurseries across the country. Many pieces have been meticulously cultivated, featuring a wide variety of species and rich forms, reflecting the developing trends in the ornamental biological movement—especially the passion for orchids in recent years.

According to the plan, the opening ceremony and results announcement will be held on April 26, 2026 (the 9th day of the 3rd lunar month). A novel feature of this year’s exhibition is that the works will be judged through direct public voting. The voting period runs from the afternoon of the 8th to the end of the morning of the 9th day of the 3rd lunar month, ensuring transparency and encouraging participation from the public and tourists.

The exhibition space at the Well Temple area is harmoniously arranged with the natural landscape, enhancing the sacred beauty of the Hung Temple. Various orchid lines such as Dendrobium anosmum, Phalaenopsis, and other rare Dendrobium species are showcased, creating a vivid highlight in the overall festival activities.

Sharing about the event, Mr. Truong Quoc Chinh — Head of the Organizing Committee — stated that after three years of being held at the Hung Temple, the exhibition has successfully promoted the beauty of orchids from the Ancestral Land and across Vietnam. He expressed his desire to expand the scale in the future, aiming for a larger-scale orchid festival suitable for the potential of regions like Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, and Hoa Binh, which are home to many rare indigenous orchid species.

Mr. Pham Tien Dat — Director of the Hung Temple Historic Site — noted that the national artistic orchid exhibition has positively enriched the festival’s activities over the past three years. Looking ahead, the management unit will research elevating the event into the Phu Tho Orchid Festival and orienting the formation of an Orchid Park at Hung Temple, with the participation of nurseries nationwide and the support of the Provincial People’s Committee.

Following the announcement of results, the exhibition area will remain open to the public from the 10th to the 15th day of the 3rd lunar month. This activity contributes to promoting Phu Tho’s tourism image, spreading the beauty of ornamental biological culture, and serving as a standout feature of the 2026 Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week.
