The Hung Vuong Fair is a central activity within the framework of the 2026 Hung Kings' Commemoration, the Hung Temple Festival, and the Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week. Scheduled to take place from April 22 to 28, 2026, at Hung Vuong Square, Viet Tri City, this large-scale trade promotion event brings together numerous enterprises and cooperatives from within and outside the province, contributing to product promotion and local socio-economic development.
The fair serves not only as a vital trading space but also meets the sightseeing and shopping needs of pilgrims paying tribute to the Hung Kings. Through this event, the province continues to effectively implement the campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods,” while creating opportunities for businesses to enhance networking, seek partners, and expand their markets.
This year’s fair is expected to feature 250 to 300 booths with the participation of 150 to 200 enterprises, cooperatives, and production facilities. The exhibits are highly diverse, ranging from OCOP products, agricultural-forestry-aquatic products, and processed foods to consumer goods, household appliances, electronics, construction materials, mechanical products for agriculture, and traditional handicrafts from local craft villages.
Maika Food Co., Ltd. (Dao Xa Commune) prepares products for the 2026 Hung Vuong Fair.
To ensure the fair proceeds efficiently and on schedule, the Department of Industry and Trade has proactively established an Organizing Committee and finalized the site layout. Furthermore, the national industrial promotion scheme will support participating units with up to 80% of booth rental costs.
To date, approximately 250 booths have already been registered, including 150 from local units. The fair also sees strong participation from provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Da Nang, Thanh Hoa, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, and Gia Lai, promising a rich and vibrant exhibition space.
Local businesses are also focusing on quality and branding. Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Director of Maika Food Co., Ltd., shared: "We have prepared meticulously, from raw material selection to packaging design. Our 4-star OCOP products are not only high-quality and safe but also aesthetically improved to meet modern market demands. We hope to leverage this fair to promote our brand and connect with new partners."
Currently, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Development is finalizing the list of participants and designing a scientific booth arrangement. Immediately after taking over the Hung Vuong Square site on April 18, units will begin installing prefabricated houses, booths, stages, and entrances. Systems for electricity, water, environmental sanitation, security, and fire safety will also be completed.
The handover of booths to participants is scheduled to be completed by April 22, 2026. With thorough preparation from all levels and the business community, the 2026 Hung Vuong Fair promises to be a major highlight of the festival season, boosting trade and enhancing the economic and cultural standing of Phu Tho province.
