Employed Workforce Increases by 4.2 Thousand People
In May 2026, the entire province is estimated to have successfully generated employment for 4.2 thousand laborers. Within this framework, labor export accounted for 1,009 people, making up 23.8% of the total net increase in the employed workforce; meanwhile, laborers securing employment within the industry and construction sector reached 1,283 people, accounting for 30.2%.
Herrhil Charm Co., Ltd. (Thanh Son Commune) provides regular employment for 350 workers, with an average salary of 9 million VND per worker per month.
Alongside these positive turnarounds, the labor market still experienced notable volatility, with the number of resignations and job losses hovering at 8.9 thousand people. This workforce contraction was predominantly concentrated within Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) enterprises, triggered by fluctuations in manufacturing and business operations.
Significantly, the employment index of industrial enterprises continuously maintained a positive growth momentum, representing a month-on-month increase of 2.6% and a sharp year-on-year surge of 10.6% compared to 2025. This is widely considered an optimistic indicator demonstrating that industrial manufacturing operations are steadily recovering, thereby actively contributing to job creation, stabilizing the labor market, and guaranteeing social security across the province.
