Farmers in An Nghia Commune run highly efficient dairy husbandry, with their output fully retailed to the Vinamilk dairy corporation.

Dairy husbandry has witnessed robust expansion across various areas, including Vinh Phu, Thai Hoa, Tam Dao, An Nghia, and Lien Son. Maintaining stable contractual alliances between farming households and major dairy corporations—such as Vinamilk and Dutch Lady —has forged a highly resilient supply-and-consumption chain, yielding an annual commercialized milk output of approximately 40,000 tons per year.

Dairy cattle, alongside other endemic livestock species such as indigenous goats, native pigs, Lac Son chickens, multi-spurred chickens, H’Mong chickens, and honeybees, have been designated as the province’s key strategic livestock portfolio.

The development of the dairy herd is strategically steered toward large-scale farming models, closed-loop supply chains, and strict biosecurity protocols. The province drives the integration of circular economy solutions while guaranteeing green manufacturing pipelines. This approach aims to uplift product valuation, actively contribute to emission reductions, and safeguard the rural living environment.
