Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted Student Wins Silver Medal at the 2026 European Physics Olympiad

Luong Duc Gia Bao, a 12th-grade student specializing in Physics at Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, has won a Silver Medal at the 2026 European Physics Olympiad (EuPhO), held from June 12 to 16 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The European Physics Olympiad is one of the world’s most prestigious academic competitions for high school students, bringing together outstanding contestants from numerous countries and territories.

This year, the Vietnamese national team consisted of five students, all of whom won medals. Among them, Luong Duc Gia Bao was one of four Vietnamese contestants awarded a Silver Medal.

Gia Bao’s achievement not only contributed to the overall success of the Vietnamese national team but also brought great pride to the education sector of Phu Tho Province. The result further affirms the long-standing tradition of excellence in teaching and learning at Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, which has nurtured and trained outstanding students for many years.

The Silver Medal at the 2026 European Physics Olympiad marks a significant milestone in Luong Duc Gia Bao’s academic journey.
