On the afternoon of June 10, the Department of Science and Technology hosted a high-level scientific seminar titled "Developing Science, Technology, and Innovation in Phu Tho Province for the 2026–2030 Period, with a Vision to 2035." The assembly gathered leading experts, scientists, and senior delegates from key units under the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Central Board of Policy Strategy, and Hung Vương University.
The Directorate of the Department of Science and Technology delivers the opening address, launching the strategic research and innovation framework for the region.
During the executive panels, delegates focused their debates on evaluating current operational realities and systemic bottlenecks. The discussions centered on establishing concrete developmental goals and metrics through 2030, while prioritizing core strategic technology corridors. These include digital technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI), advanced manufacturing and processing, high-tech agriculture, and the green economy.
A wave of highly dedicated insights from top scholars scrutinized the deployment of breakthrough mechanisms and policy frameworks. These proposals aimed at aggressive talent recruitment, the mobilization of socialized investment resources, and feasibility solutions to guarantee the successful execution of Phu Tho’s master plan on science, technology, and innovation.
The strategic inputs harvested at this seminar serve as a vital foundation for the province to refine its practical arguments and expand its empirical evidence. This rigorous preparation ensures that once the comprehensive master plan is submitted to competent authorities for official enactment, it will generate real-world economic momentum. Ultimately, this will position science, technology, and innovation as the absolute “key” to driving Phu Tho’s rapid and sustainable growth in the new era.
