On the afternoon of June 22, Mr. Pham Dai Duong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Phu Tho Province, chaired a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation (Provincial Steering Committee) to review preparations for the conference summarizing the first six months of 2026 and outlining tasks for the remaining six months of the year.

To date, the Department of Science and Technology and relevant agencies have completed the conference agenda framework, largely finalized the report on the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW during the first six months of 2026, and prepared an accompanying documentary jointly produced by Phu Tho Newspaper and Broadcasting & Television Station. The conference is expected to be held in late June or early July 2026.

At the conference, the province will officially launch the Double-Digit Growth Monitoring and Management System; announce major provincial challenges for 2026; and sign cooperation agreements on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation with ministries, universities, and research institutes. So far, six major challenges and related tasks have been identified for implementation under these cooperation agreements.

In addition, an exhibition area showcasing outstanding products and achievements in implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW will be organized at the Provincial Convention Center. The exhibition is expected to feature around 18 booths from businesses. Relevant units have completed site surveys, developed exhibition plans, and are currently selecting products while finalizing promotional content and visual materials.

Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Pham Dai Duong emphasized that the conference holds significant importance and will serve as a basis for the province to formulate tasks and solutions for implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW in the coming period.

He requested all agencies, units, and localities to promptly carry out assigned tasks while ensuring both quality and progress. In the immediate future, the Department of Science and Technology was tasked with urging localities and agencies to accelerate data updates to the monitoring system to ensure its effective and practical operation. Regarding the exhibition area, he stressed the need for a scientific layout, technological highlights, greater interactivity, the selection of representative products, and the attraction of business participation.

For the documentaries and video clips to be presented at the conference, he required that their content closely reflect the report on the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, highlighting outstanding achievements, innovative approaches, and effective models. These visual materials should create a vivid and engaging impression, helping to spread key messages and enhance the conference’s communication effectiveness.
