Mr. Luong Duc Minh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Publicity, Education and Mass Mobilization, addresses the conference.
During the first half of 2026, external information and communications work received timely attention and direction from provincial leaders. Member agencies of the Steering Committee and local authorities actively implemented a wide range of communication activities, helping raise awareness and strengthen the sense of responsibility among Party members, officials, and the public, while reinforcing broad social consensus regarding the Party’s and the State’s external information and communications policies.
Communication content remained consistent with official guidelines, while communication methods were diversified and flexibly adapted to local conditions. Digital communication activities also proved effective in promoting the image of Phu Tho Province across online platforms.
Awareness among government agencies, departments, and local authorities of the significance and importance of external information and communications has continued to improve. Through communication and promotional activities, officials, Party members, and the public have gained a deeper understanding of the province’s development potential, strategic position, and comparative advantages.
These efforts have made an important contribution to promoting socio-economic development while helping maintain political stability, public security, and social order.

A representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism speaks at the conference.
During the meeting, delegates reviewed the achievements of the first six months, analyzed existing shortcomings, identified their causes, and proposed measures to further improve the effectiveness of external information and communications in the coming period.

Overview of the conference.
In his concluding remarks, Mr. Luong Duc Minh acknowledged the efforts of the Steering Committee’s members, provincial agencies, and local authorities. He urged all member organizations to continue effectively disseminating and implementing Politburo Resolution No. 06-NQ/TW, dated May 19, 2026, on implementing the foreign policy adopted at the 14th National Party Congress, as well as Action Program No. 10-CTr/TU, issued by the Provincial Party Standing Committee on September 22, 2025, to implement Politburo Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW, dated January 24, 2025, on international integration in the new context. He also stressed the importance of promoting major political events, national holidays, and the external affairs activities of the Party, the State, and the province.
He further emphasized the need to strengthen communication on the province’s development potential, competitive advantages, socio-economic achievements, and commitment to building a favorable investment environment. At the same time, he called for greater efforts to promote the image of Vietnam, Phu Tho, and its people while preserving and promoting the nation’s cultural heritage. He also encouraged the wider application of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation to modernize external information and communications, particularly across digital platforms.
He also requested continued monitoring and analysis of media coverage concerning the province, stronger efforts to protect and enhance Phu Tho’s reputation, active responses to false or misleading information circulating online and on social media, and closer coordination among member agencies of the Steering Committee. These measures, he said, will help further improve the effectiveness of the province’s external information and communications work in the new context.
