On June 30, Trung Minh New Urban Area Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony for a social housing project in the Trung Minh A New Urban Area, located in Hoa Binh Ward.
The ceremony was attended by Vu Viet Van, Member of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee, along with leaders of provincial departments and agencies, local authorities, the project investor and construction contractors.

Delegates attend the groundbreaking ceremony.
The project covers an area of approximately 62,071 square metres and includes the construction of 20 low-rise apartment buildings, providing about 1,289 apartments. It will also feature supporting facilities, including parking areas, a community center, commercial and service facilities, and a complete technical infrastructure system.
The project has received investment policy approval and land allocation from the Provincial People’s Committee in accordance with regulations. It is designed to develop a modern and well-planned residential area offering housing at prices supported under the Government’s social housing policy.

Vice Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee Vu Viet Van addresses the groundbreaking ceremony.
Once completed, the project will add 1,289 social housing and rental apartments to the province’s housing stock, helping meet the growing demand for affordable housing among local residents, public employees and workers. It will also expand the supply of social housing for low-income households and other groups facing housing difficulties, improve living conditions, strengthen social welfare and create a safe and civilized residential environment.
The development is also expected to enhance the urban landscape, improve connectivity of technical infrastructure, establish a well-planned residential community in a strategic location and create new momentum for the socio-economic development of the locality.

A representative of the project investor speaks at the groundbreaking ceremony.
This is the 19th social housing project to break ground in the province under the Government’s Social Housing Development Programme, and the 11th such project launched since the establishment of the new Phu Tho Province following the administrative merger.
Notably, it is also the first project in the province to implement the Party’s, the State’s and the Government’s policy on developing rental social housing, helping diversify housing options and better meet the needs of different groups of residents.

Vice Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee Vu Viet Van presents flowers to congratulate the project investor.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Vu Viet Van commended the efforts of the investor, provincial departments and agencies, Hoa Binh Ward authorities and relevant organizations for their close coordination in completing legal procedures and creating the necessary conditions for the project to commence in accordance with regulations.
He called on the investor to mobilize maximum resources to ensure construction quality and timely completion while strictly complying with regulations on planning, land management, investment, construction, environmental protection and other relevant legal requirements. He stressed that effective quality control, reasonable construction costs and adherence to the implementation schedule would enable the project to be put into operation at the earliest opportunity and maximize its investment efficiency.

Provincial leaders and the project investor press the button to officially launch the project.
The groundbreaking ceremony marks another important milestone in Phu Tho Province’s social housing development programme, demonstrating the province’s commitment to implementing the Government-approved scheme on "Investing in the Construction of at Least One Million Social Housing Apartments for Low-Income People and Industrial Park Workers during the 2021–2030 Period." The project is expected to improve living standards, strengthen social welfare and promote sustainable urban development.
