Ho Chi Minh City Police Men’s Volleyball Team Crowns Champions of Hung Vuong Cup 2026

On the evening of April 26, the men’s volleyball final between the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Police and Bien Phong MB took place at the Phu Tho Provincial Sports Complex.

Representatives from the Organizing Committee and sponsors present awards to teams and individuals with outstanding achievements.

From the very first set, HCMC Police demonstrated their superiority with a dominant playing style, largely thanks to the presence of two foreign players. A one-sided momentum was quickly established, leaving Bien Phong MB struggling to deploy their tactics.

In the second set, Bien Phong MB showed efforts to improve by tightening their formation, especially in the offensive line. However, facing an opponent that maintained steady form and controlled the match tempo effectively, the military team could not turn the tide.

Immediately following the men’s final, the Organizing Committee held the closing ceremony and presented awards to the top-performing teams.

In the men’s category, the First Prize was awarded to the Ho Chi Minh City Police, followed by Bien Phong MB in second place, The Cong Tan Cang in third, and Hanoi receiving the consolation prize.

For the women’s category, Hanoi Tasco Auto claimed the First Prize, while Duc Giang Lao Cai Chemicals took second, Information Corps - Signal Corps 15 took third, and VTV Binh Dien Long An was awarded the consolation prize.

Additionally, individual awards were presented to athletes for their outstanding performances.
