Phu Tho has 4 solutions to win awards at the 17th National Technical Innovation Contest

On the evening of April 23, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations and the Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technological Creations (VIFOTEC) coordinated with the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Central Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organized the summary and awarding ceremony of the 17th National Technical Innovation Contest (2022-2023). Attending the ceremony was Mr. Le Quang Huy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly’s Science, Technology and Environment Committee.

From just over 30 provinces and cities participating, now there are 55 ministries, branches, provinces and cities participating with more than 8,000 creative solutions in the contest, divided into 6 fields: Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication; mechanical automation, construction, transportation; materials, chemicals, energy; agriculture, forestry, fishery, environmental resources; medicine, pharmacy; education and training.

For the 17th National Technical Innovation Contest (2022 - 2023), from 587 solutions nationwide, the Organizing Committee selected and decided to award 84 solutions, including: 6 First prizes, 12 Second prizes, 24 Third prizes, 42 Consolation prizes. Most solutions have been widely applied in production and life, bringing high socio-economic efficiency. Among them, Phu Tho province has 4 award-winning solutions including 1 third prize from VICEM Song Thao Cement Joint Stock Company; 3 Consolation prizes from units: Hung Vuong University (2 solutions), Ngoc Dat To Trading Service Joint Stock Company (1 solution).
