Among them, the biggest characteristic of Bang Luan grapefruit is that the fruit is not too big, tastes sweet, melts good, has dry segments, and does not stick to the hands. Along with Bang Luan grapefruit, Doan Hung is also famous for Suu grapefruit, which is widely grown in Chi Dam commune. This is also one of two typical grapefruit varieties in Phu Doan region, creating the specialty grapefruit brand Doan Hung with large fruit, beautiful appearance, delicious taste, citrus fruit, fragrant, sweet and cool taste. It is known that currently in Doan Hung district, there are over 1,540 hectares of grapefruit in the business period receiving support to improve quality; Grapefruit output in the entire district in 2023 will reach nearly 35 thousand tons. In particular, in Bang Luan commune currently grows more than 400 hectares of grapefruit, including 120 hectares of specialty grapefruit, in addition to grapefruit varieties such as: Dien grapefruit, early-eating sour grapefruit. The price of Doan Hung grapefruit varies depending on the type, ranging from 20 thousand VND/fruit - 60 thousand VND/fruit. In particular, fruits from perennial trees with stable quality have higher prices and are often purchased early by cooperatives and traders.

With stable quality and price, Doan Hung grapefruit is highly appreciated by many customers. In particular, after being granted geographical indications in 2006 and applying additional pollination to overcome the phenomenon of grapefruit not bearing fruit due to lack of nutrition and improper care since 2010, the grapefruit market Doan Hung fruit is increasingly expanding.
